Genetic Modifications:
Birb. Bluejay to be exact. Feathers on shoulders, side of face, edges of jaw, and along back of neck and lower part of head, merging with darker blue hair. All hair/feathers are blue>white and tones similar to that of a blujay - and the ones especially on his head are fairly sensitive to touch- he avoids wearing anything that might be uncomfortable there. Increased clarity an ability to process sounds/pick out specific sounds among a larger set of noises. Slightly clearer than human eyesight. Some ability for speech mimicry - not so much sounds, but able to recreate another person's voice if he hears it thoroughly enough. (level of ability directly relates to how often voice is heard - comparable to your own ability to read what other people type in their voice).

On the flip side of this, the bones in his upper arms and hands specifically are lighter, slightly hollow and more fragile. 


Unique Tech: 
Reinforced sleeves - tightly woven, super strong sleeves that absorb impacts and prevent fragile bones in upper arms and hands from breaking. Illani is rarely seen without them. 

Wrist mounted forcefield generator - A small and discreet item on the back of his wrist that is able to activate, creating a domed shield two and a half feet in diameter. It is able to withstand up to four strong impacts before overheating and needing to cool off, and its shape can push even some magic based projectiles away. Generally, smaller projectiles like bullets are able to punch through and it is much more useful in close quarters than against someone with a gun.

Tactical energy blade - By utilizing light magic, Lani is able to concentrate it through a a device to increase its potency, creating a sword out of laser-light special science (wow I could describe this better later). Depending on the potency of the magic used, it may be able to burn through strong materials.

177CM tall, feathers, dark blue hair, robins egg blue eyes, incredibly pale skin, pointed ears. 3 dark blue lines across right cheek. 


Personality:  Soft spoken and driven to help, Illani is a tiny bit on the naive side. He's been brought up only in the upper class and protected his whole life, and though he's been out and in the civilian police force, he seems to have been thoroughly convinced that things are fine the way they are and that anyone seeking to bring things down is clearly confused or has ulterior motives.
