► GENERAL RULES ◄
- This site is PG-13, so posts can not contain any of the following content: promoting the use of illegal drugs, sex, pornography, nudity, or any other form of adult content, hate, fraud, racism, sexism, or promote any illegal activity. These things are prohibited in the TOS of Proboards, and will have a no tolerance policy as they can affect the entire site.
- If your role play contains self-harm, murder, or other triggering situations, please put a warning at the top of the first post.. If you do not provide trigger warnings, you may be asked to do so by an Admin. Refusal to do so may result in a warning, as well as the content being deleted.
- If we see you making repeated posts that break rules flagrantly in such a way that makes us believe you are either a bot or have joined purely for trolling(spamming, posting nudity/gore, etc), it is grounds for immediate banning.
- Be courteous and kind to all members. You should not insult, harass, annoy, bully or intentionally start fights with others. If someone asks you to stop, you need to kindly stop. Offensive, aggressive or passive aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with another member, private message them and work it out, or alert a staff member. If the staff member is at fault, PM an Admin at once! Do not use any derogatory, or hurtful names to refer to other members. Any hateful preaching will result in a warning.
- Reporting a member consistently for something that does not break the rules or has already been dealt with by the admins can be considered harassment. Admins will always keep the person who sent the report in informed about the situation, but that does not meant we will excuse bullying through the form of excessive and unneeded reports.
[/ul] - We also expect courtesy and kindness to your fellow members both on and off site! If we've found that anyone has been harassed or bullied in relation to participation to re:DUX, whether it be on skype, LINE, or other personal messages / chatting, that is grounds for punishment.
- You may not use copied, recoloured, traced, or otherwise stolen images. This means you cannot take images found elsewhere on the internet and claim them as yours. You must credit an artist if you are using their art, and these cannot be used as character art. If you reference a picture, please link to the original source if it is not a stock photo.
- Only one character can be used per account ( not per user ). If you would like another character, a new account should be made for them.
- "Ninja" accounts are not allowed. Ninja accounting is when you make an account and keep your identity a secret from the rest of the members. This has been known to cause some behavioral issues ( i.e. people harassing other members anonymously. ) Admins can see member IP addresses, and if we believe someone is ninja accounting this grounds for a warning after investigation. To avoid this, please use the preferred name section of the user profile. If members are sharing a computer or household, please inform us to avoid any mishaps!
- Spam is not allowed, nor are spam accounts. Threads and posts found to contain spam will be deleted, as will accounts.
- No member is to backseat moderate for any reason. "Backseat moderating" is when a non-Admin user attempts to take on the duties of the Administration staff. This creates unnecessary strife between the member base and unwanted negativity.
- Attempting to bait a member into breaking the rules so you can report them counts as harassment.

► RP RULES ◄
- re:DUX is a prose style RP forum, and all posts in the IC areas are required to be at least 150 words, unless stated otherwise. IM style RPs also need to be at least 150 words per person taking part. Comic RPs are page based, so one page is equal to one post.
- Controlling another person's character. i.e. Assuming an attack hit, a character was grabbed, etc. without asking permission from the other person.
- Forcing a person to continue a RP they do not wish to continue.
- Roleplaying with only your own character(s).
[/ul]
- You cannot kill or injure another person’s character in any way, shape, or form without their permission. Any attempts to threaten or force another user to let you hurt their character will be treated as harassment.
- Please note in the title of your rp what kind of rp it is. ‘Open’ or ‘[ o ]’ indicates that anyone is free to join, whereas ‘Private’, ‘[ p ]’, or listing the characters names means only specific members can join.
- If creating a character with any disabilities or abnormal traits, please do research on the topic before writing them. Character backgrounds should be believable and follow the rules of not godmodding or powerplaying. This is to ensure any real life disabilities or conditions are not belittled or romanticized in inappropriate ways on this forum.
- All of the 10 posts needed for evaluation must be in the introduction rp forum. This may change in the future, but in order to ensure that everyone is correctly established in the world we are requiring all posts for eval be in the re:DUX universe.

After looking over any reports received or any incidents on the board, if it is decided that the offending member has broken the rules of re:DUX to a considerable extent, these are the steps that will be taken.
- Verbal warning. This does not count as a strike against the member, but will come as a reminder of the rules and list what needs to be changed or discussed in order to keep members of the forum comfortable and equal. This type of warning is for minor offenses, but if a member needs to be warned several times for the same reason this may progress into an official warning.

- Your second official warning will come with a week long suspension from the site. A message will be sent to both your account and email explaining the reason why you were given the warning and reminding you that you are on your last warning. As with the first warning,If you would like to dispute this warning, you are free to discuss this with the Administrators over email or private message but we give no guarantee that it will be lifted.
- Your third official warning comes with an outright ban from the site. Since access to the site will be unavailable, we will email you with the reason you were warned. As with other warnings, if you would like to dispute this warning, you are free to discuss this with the Administrators over email but we give no guarantee that it will be lifted. If there is no discussion still in progress after a week, all of the user’s accounts will be deleted.
