Personality: Despite his rather rough background, Monty doesn't let any of that affect his insatiable curiosity and optimism. Though he's on the quieter side of the spectrum as far as 6-year-olds go, he's always eagerly taking in the world around him with his big cat eyes and planning out where to get his next meal. He's also quite fond of learning and tries to read everything from signs to the books and scraps that his big sis sometimes brings him. Even though he can't read most of the words right now, he's determined to learn and read everything in the world, if he can help it.
Background: Monty's not too clear on the details himself, but he does know that his mom's not around anymore and only his big sis is there to take care of him. He also knows that they're not exactly in the best situation housing-wise, which explains why they have to move from place to place all the time.
