 Hello from the other side of the world! To be completely honest, when I clicked the "penpal" tab, I'd actually joined the site less than 5 minutes prior to accidentally signing myself up for a pen pal— but I decided to roll with it, since it seemed like a fun thing to do. And now, here I am, writing a letter!
I have some good friends who live over in AUS and I've heard about the wildlife there. Not to mention the number of videos I've watched about spiders the size of a dinner plate. I'm trying to convince myself that spiders are friendly and do not want to crawl all over me like I think they do, but so far it's a work in progress.
I do like some spiders though! Especially furry tarantulas like bird-eaters and such. I find them very adorable in a strange way— does that make any sense?
Over here, just about the most dangerous thing you'll come across is probably my house cat. So far, he's killed about 5-6 rabbits, two birds, a garden snake or two... and probably more. It's funny to think that my adorable loaf of fur is actually a predator!
The weather here is pretty hot in the summer, which I'm sure you can sympathize with— though it could be hotter for me, personally. I like more tropical climates than the one I'm in right now, because I absolutely can't stand the cold. I wear sweaters and double layers in the spring, and it's only in the summer where I feel like it's comfortable enough to go without a blanket. a downright bitch. she doesn't owe anyone shit and she won't take it from anyone either. as far as she cares for, it's an eye for and eye and if the world goes blind, that's not her problem. true neutral. with the occasional dip into the evil side of the spectrum. that isn't to say she's purposely malicious— if you haven't done her wrong, she can't be arsed to give you trouble. too much effort and not enough payout. generally, she's quiet and solitary though not at all shy, and she is very determined to get what she wants, when she wants it. she rarely gets buddy-buddy with anyone and trusts even less than that, but the few people she does grow close to, she becomes extremely loyal to— to the point of fault.
her brother is the most important thing in the world to her— and she shows it. the emotion she holds in reserve is all for him and she's intensely protective of him on top of that.
