I imagined it's probably frowned upon, but how does marriage between different classes work? Do both spouses remain in their original class or does one upgrade/downgrade with the other?

Tacking onto Koko's question with one that I just kinda thought of off of that.
Is there a potential for someone to try and marry someone else into their class? Other than that, is it possible to 'sponsor' someone to come up a class or bribe someone's way up?
Other than 'testing' are there other ways to move up a class such as 'performing an exemplary service in the name of your government' or even a long sequence of promotions at work for someone who showed aptitude but hadn't reached the next testing period yet?

Kokotan kyneWhile marriage is allowed between classes ( but upper class marrying slums would be like equivalent as becoming a social pariah on both ends ), they would have to live separately in their own classes. There is no official 'sponsoring', but yes you could bribe their manager to promote them further. But again going that way from slums to upper class would be near impossible. As for the methods other than testing, you pretty much hit the nail on the head Scotty. And if you would like a character to move up/down via one of those means during the course of the ooc year, just pm an admin to let them know about the change and the background behind it.

Ahh, sorry! Still trying to grasp the concept of Scavengers using Magic. From what I think I understand so far... S-so, I think my confusion is this: if Scavengers are able to use magic codes... how does it work for them without an operational NUIP?
Or am I maybe misunderstanding and their NUIP's still function on some level?@_@ [edit] *flails* Or is it one of those things where after people do install their magic, they don't have to keep reinstalling it? It's just something they can only activate up to 3 times a day after the initial download? |

What if a scavenger surrendered themselves to the government / wanted to serve time + redo the test to get their citizenship reinstated? Especially in cases of people... not exactly "willingly" becoming scavengers /STARES AT A FEW PEOPLE U KNO WHO U R

Going off of ports, what would happen if the port became damaged? Like it wouldn't accept whatever was plugged in or was fucked up in some way that made it unusable? Until one got it fixed, what would they be unable to do without it?
