So on this, the answer is yes we can fully change / customize / add emotes and get rid of the default ones. They really aren't that pretty are they --
If you ( or anyone for that matter ) have a particular set in mind that are free packs we can download, then please post a link here ! Even examples of what you guys might want would be fantastic.
If we can find a good set and others agree on them, then we can impliment the changes soon o7 |

Kendra Ye ye but what if someone made them? They could be linked off site/uploaded to replace the current faces, yes? Because then we can have re:DUX specific icons. We can even pick emotes we want based on that facial expression meme you did not too long ago lol Unless that's not possible lol

That'd be cool too of course. The hardest part about making our own would be the actual time and effort put into them. With how many basic emotes there are I just figured a pack would be easier aha.
Did you have a specific example for what you meant for a custom emote that might be redux related ? I'm not exactly sure I get what you mean for the facial expressions meme bit. |

I'd be totally down for a custom set. It'd eliminate the need to search for free emotes that are still nice to look at lol. Depending on when you guys wanna do your next big update, it'd be possible to have a deadline for them to be released.
Also I mean this meme. Like we cover the expressions Proboards already has but then (if possible) pick some from that picture as extras. Have some variety and what not since I know a lot of us use way more than the standard " " and ":C".Re:DUX specific will probably mean like neon faces or something. Maybe the only ones that'd actually move/animate because they're special. You got me there lol |

ah! Ty for telling me what you meant i was lost aha.
While I do agree fully custom emotes would be awesome, atm we don't have the time to make an entire set. Small customs ones ( like magic symbols ) would be entirely viable, it's just difficult to contribute the time needed to make an entire set because of RL and actual on site duties.
In the future it's entirely possible we can make our own set, but it's lower on our priority list right now. Of course if someone wanted to contribute and help to make the emotes, then they could be added sooner ! For now, premade custom ones are just much easier ; v ; |

Lol I was hoping I could pixel something. Emotes are fun. I totally didn't delete my previous comment just to post another oneSo they're kinda really rough but they're the same size as the default ones so hopefully it doesn't break pages, posts, or rules. Something like this maybe?  They're too small for animation, unfortunately, if we wanted to do moving emotes. |
