"So it's just the two of us, huh?"
Kendra adjusted her glove, eyes flicking over towards her dark haired partner for the day. She and Ritseiku had know each other for some time, but nothing too personal. Coworkers, after all. She had joined the SP a bit earlier than he had, though he was her senior in age. But there had been nothing but good things spoken about him - Which they needed.
She didn't want a repeat of her last duo mission. She only had one arm left, after all.
A moment passed and an explosion went off, followed by a rolling howl of laughter. Magix addicts, and it seemed they liked to play with fire. No wonder they had raided one of their store houses. Kendra felt herself flinch at the sound, though she was able to hold it back for the most part save for her brow knitting together and her grip tightening. Two years, and she was still jumpy around explosions. She needed to get over that, especially because it could fuck up their mission.
"I'm picking up six neural pulses, though from what I can tell they're also using scrambling tech. Possibly ten or more in that case. Expected, seeing as what they're wanting to do." Her back flattened against a metal container, making certain her Magix were tightly secured in the hidden pocket lining the high collar of her coat.
"You go left, I'll go right? I'm a bit more... Handy when I can get on their right side." A grin flashed in his direction while she took hold of her gun and glanced out from behind the container.
"Give the signal when you're ready. We can keep count for who does better. Winner buys drinks after?" They'd never know what hit them.
