"some quote"
Full Name: Taylor Shaw
Age & Date of Birth: 19 | Oct. 19
Gender: female
Class: Middle Class
Occupation: Biochemistry Student, Photographer (freelance)
Affiliation: civilian
Genetic Modifications:
Unique Tech: None
Appearance: Taylor Sketch
5'6", dream-catcher watercolour and scorpion tattoo on right arm, chrysanthemums and several other flowers on left upper arm; has an eyebrow piercing in her left brow.
Personality: mellow, witty, patient, easygoing, adaptable, she is really chill and very difficult to anger, but once that threshold has been breached she can rage on for a long time; comes across as pretty dreamy and enjoys the small things in life. Usually very kind, but loves to tease people by giving them weird nicknames or making sarcastic remarks.
In her spare time Taylor loves to read, make photos or sometimes paint. She is a quick learner and has good memorization skills, but can sometimes zone out up to the point of missing important details. She may or may not have a slight obsession with plants.
Background:
Born and raised in the lower class, Taylor never really intended to test anywhere but lower class where her family lives.
Her mother originally came from the upper class, but retook the test and flunked it to fall to lower class so she could be with Taylor's father who works in a flower store. Taylor quite liked her life, it was hard work, little money and small living space, but she was happy just to be with her family. Yet, her parents wanted more for their daughter, knowing she was clever and hard-working. They worked hard and saved in secret to eventually get her a gene splice - this due to Taylor easily getting ill.
After Taylor took the Test at 16 - and tested lower class - they made a deal that if she tested higher, they would work hard as well and join her wherever she ended up. Wanting to please her parents, Taylor worked long and hard and at age 18 retook the Test and tested Middle Class. She held back however, afraid that better scores would take her too far away from her family.
Sadly she still had to wait a year for her parent's retesting. In that year, she started following higher education - having always loved learning and reading - and took on a job as freelance photographer.
The following year however (2468), the year her family would be reunited, her parents missed the Test due to her baby sister being born. While Taylor was happy to have a sibling she also couldn't help but feel angry and sad. Nevertheless, she kept studying focusing on getting better, hoping that next year her family would be reunited, even if it meant she has to go back to Lower Class.
