Finding a decent job was...oddly tiresome. To be honest, Eco hadn't thought he'd be having this much trouble finding a job he wouldn't absolutely loathe doing, and would help make ends meet. As things seemed to be right now, though... He was having more trouble than he thought he would. Had he been thinking about this too simply? He knew he was originally from the Upper Class and had had lived a rather easy and luxurious life until now, but... Wow, he was starting to feel like he'd been a lot more spoiled than he initially thought he'd been. Not a thought he was particularly fond of.
Eco had been out in the luxury district for most of the morning, attempting to find something suitable. Whatever money he had left in his savings was bound to run out at some point and he'd rather he had a stable job before that happened, rather than after.
Still... A lot of good job hunting would do him if he looked liked death. He hadn't really been getting a lot of sleep lately and it might actually start to show. He wasn't quite done for the day, but a lot of good it'd do him if he fell asleep mid job interview, so he figured a short coffee break was in order. He didn't really stop to think about where he'd get said coffee though. He just walked into the nearest place that seemed like it would sell such a thing, walked up to the counter and,
"I'd like an espresso doppio, please. No sugar or anything extra added; just the espresso" he ordered; getting straight to the point.

Things had been terribly slow lately. It wasn't like Flynn was complaining but... No, he was complaining. He was totally complaining and he will continue to do so until something happened.
Because nothing was happening. Nothing. Nada. Squat. It wasn't a bad thing per se, because it meant he wouldn't have to be afraid of someone kicking his door down and trying to kill him but it was so boring! There was only so much training he could do before he keeled over and as much as he loved to train at some point it becomes dull.
As it was the only thing he could do was go to work in that little coffee shop in the Luxury District and to no surprise, even then little was going on. The place was never really buzzing with business but today it was exceptionally empty to the point that the manager decided to take a break and leave Flynn alone in the shop.
So there he was, just standing at the counter and wondering if he should get a book to read or something when the bell ringed and a customer entered. Flynn quickly straightened his back and smiled, hoping they didn't see his bored expression.
“One expresso doppio, coming right up!” A bit flustered at being caught off guard, Flynn tried to not look at the guy's – he assumes it's a guy by the voice – face and instead busied himself with making the drink. Getting the things he needed, he quickly glanced up to see his reaction when--
Woah.
“You're really pretty.” It had slipped out before he knew it, his hands completely still as he stared at the guy in front of him.

After ordering, Eco suddenly found himself doing his best to suppress a yawn. Huh, he really was tired, wasn't he? He really did hope the espresso would help wake him up; if not the caffeine then the lack of sugar and how bitter he was sure it would be. At the very least, there was a fifty/fifty chance of it helping. He just hoped it was in the right fifty.
He'd barged in with such a rush, he hadn't even taken the time to look at his surroundings. He did notice that it was oddly quiet in here, but for the rest...
There was a momentary internal pause before Eco sighed a little. This wasn't really the first time someone 'complimented' him out of the blue like that, so he was used to it, but that didn't really mean he had to like it. Still. "Thanks, I suppose." He muttered under his breath as he looked around the store, just now noticing just how empty it was. Huh.
Of course he could make small talk with this person, but... He didn't really feel like it. And if he didn't feel like it then well, why should he do it?

Flynn was still staring instead of doing his work because damn that guy was pretty. Like, scary pretty. White hair wasn't all that unusual but his was well kept and looked silky to the touch. His ears looked really big and fluffy too and-- Was he wearing make up? It was hard to tell without going all up on his face but how else would he explain those long lashes?
“No, seriously, you're really pretty. I'm kind of afraid I will be smitten by some god for looking at you.” Flynn has seen a lot of pretty people in his time, hell some people even called him pretty a few times but like this guy was really pretty. Like he jumped right out of a movie set or a modeling runway or something. The kind of pretty you see in shows.
Those eyelashes were really starting to bother him though. Were they natural or make up? Could make up even make them this long?
So to find out he set down his utensils and leaned over the counter, leaning in close enough to almost breath into that guy's face.

Okay, to be fair whenever Eco got one of those 'compliments' of his, the conversation didn't always die immediately after that. No, sometimes people did try to keep talking to him, to which he did do his best to be as polite as possible at times, but really; it was honesty kind of tiresome. Personally he thought some people exaggerated his appearance, but what was he going to do about it? He'd kind of hoped that things would stay at the 'you're pretty' comment and he could get his espresso, but...
It was quiet. Too quiet.
Sure, the shop was empty, but he had ordered a drink; there should have at least been the noise of the other guy making it for him. Unless...
Eco turned to look and, wouldn't you know it, he was being stared at. Should he be surprised? He wasn't, really. More like a little annoyed, but he did his best not to let it show. Too much, anyway. The guy started talking again and- For the love of. Okay, he got it, the guy thought he was pretty. He managed to suppress a blush at the other's words - one would think he'd get used to flirting, at least what this sounded like - and just frowned at the other. This guy didn't really seem to deserve to be polite towards.
"Look, I just want my drink. I'm not here to be flirted wi- Hey!" The wolf found himself taking half a step back and leaning backwards when the other started leaning in annoyingly close to him. "Excuse you, I just want an espresso. Could you please back off and just give me what I ordered? He was starting to get pretty damn annoyed now. He still wasn't too annoyed just yet, but....

So they were natural! At least from what Flynn could tell. He wasn't exactly an expert on make up and who knew what the people in Upper Class put on their faces but it sure looked like it was natural. It was a real shame the guy leaned back again because he would have liked to look for a bit longer.
“I'm not flirting. I'm stating facts, that's all.” If you thought someone was pretty, you tell them, right? Why keep it a secret? This guy didn't really seemed to appreciate it though, for whatever reason. A thought crossed his mind and a smirk spread over his face. “Oh, are you shy? Come on, you don't need to be, I don't bite.”
Despite his teasing though, Flynn did get off the counter though and picked up the cup again because, well, he was kind of working right now, right? Pulling out a sharpie, he flashed the guy a big smile. “Okay, what's your name? Kind of need to write it on here. Policy.” It wasn't like he was going to get in big trouble for not doing it, but the manager was a bit... peculiar about how to handle orders. He could always lie about writing the name on the cup and make up a name but he didn't really like lying. “Oh! I'm Flynn, by the way!” he quickly added as an after thought. You should always introduce yourself first, right?

Flirting, stating facts, Eco didn't really care right now. Right now all that was on his mind was how uncomfortably close this guy was right now and how much effort it was taking him to not outright punch him in the face. This guy was really testing him though, calling him shy and all that.
"I'm not shy. There is such a thing called 'personal space'. Something which I don't much appreciate having violated like this,"he rebuked. Really though, was this guy stupid? Fliratious compliments facts aside, Eco really did not like his personal space being invaded like this. At least not from some guy he just met. The guy did back of eventually though, for which he was grateful. His right hand had started to twitch somewhat fierce.
When asked for a name, though, he paused for a moment. He wasn't really fond of giving his name away at random, but with the way the guy had acted before he was against giving him the alias 'Prince'. "... Sinclair will do." He replied after a short pause. When the other gave him his name, Eco simply arched an eyebrow. "...good to know. Can I have my espresso now."
That wasn't really a question.

“Being shy is nothing to be ashamed of,” he commented offhandedly. Was this guy even shyer than expected? He had to be if he was so bothered by it. Maybe people didn't tell him he was pretty often and he was confused on how to react? That gotta be it!
“Sinclair, huh? Is that your last name? It fits you, sounds just as pretty as you are.” Scribbling the name down, Flynn got right to work. The drink was simple enough that he didn't really have to look at his hands to do it so he glanced back up to look at the guy. Now that he was really looking though... “You look really tired. You sure you don't need a nap instead of the espresso?” It wasn't like he looked ready to keel over but something about it seemed exhausted. Maybe he was imagining things but that guy should probably find a flat surface and pass out on it.

You know what, he was just going to ignore everything this guy was saying and only speak when he felt he actually had to. This back and forth bickering that was going on between them? Not necessary. He didn't need it, nope. What he needed was some bitter caffeine in his system so he could go back to job hunting, thank you very much.
Thus Eco proceeded to ignore the second 'shy' comment. If Flynn wanted to believe he was shy, he didn't care. There wasn't much else to do while he waited though, so he just kind of looked around. Of course he couldn't even be left alone with that, since the barista started to talk again. He felt his left eye twitch. "You know, I'd really appreciate it if you left your flirting to yourself." He really didn't believe a word of his saying he was 'just stating facts'. He got it the first time; Flynn thought he was pretty. No need to drive it home.
"Also, what I do or don't need is none of your business." He replied shortly after the barista's second comment. Sure he would appreciate actually resting over forcing his body to continue, but he really didn't like the thought of being jobless for this long. He wanted a goddamn job, thank you very much.

Flynn pouted a little at the flirting comment. He really wasn't. He was just saying what he thinks and being nice. Now that he thought about it though, he did get a few weird comments once in a while whenever he said stuff like that. Could the way he acted come across as flirting? Nah, Sinclair was just being weird.
About the second comment though... Flynn wasn't really sure how to feel. He did get told a lot that he was too nosy for his own good but this guy really did not look good, pretty boy face aside. The espresso was almost done but... “What's so important you need to drink shot double espresso instead of resting?” He should probably just shut up and do his job like the manager told him to countless times but he couldn't really just let someone who looked this tired go like this.
