You know, life in the Slums wasn't that bad. Sure a little lot more privacy would be nice, the place was kinda filthy and all that other noise, but you couldn't really deny the fact that there were quite a few resources to be found. Mostly scrap or junk that people considered trash. One man's trash was another man's treasure though, and Yuki could see plenty of it just lying around. Given sometimes he'd have to do a little extra digging to find something really worthwhile, but it was all rather enjoyable, oddly enough. At the very least it was free material that those of the higher classes didn't seem to care for, but he was pretty sure he could still use for something.
Right now he didn't really have anything to do, though. While Yuki did spend some of his time rummaging around for parts he could use, he only really did it when someone who found him approached him to either fix or make them something. And they didn't bother to provide him with any parts. Most of the time he preferred to spend his time in his makeshift home and actually tinkering away. Making stuff. Scavenging could be fun, but he enjoyed making things much more.
Yet here he was, rummaging around in a pile of parts, trying to find...something. He didn't know what; just that he had this need to find something worthwhile to spend his time on. He wasn't really finding anything though, to be perfectly honest. At least, that's what he thought until he noticed the faint light of something at the bottom of the pile he'd been looking around in. Oh, that seemed to have some life in it. He couldn't help but wonder what that could be, as he reached out for it.
