If someone were to talk about the amount of time people spent in the less than savory parts of Middle Class, they would be there a long time. Really, it happened to be the best place for things going wrong. People to cause a bit of chaos, have secret meetings, vandalize buildings to give the police something to deal with for the next day. It was a good life, if not a bit dangerous. And on that day, a small in stature person thought it would be fun to take a can of black spray paint and see what she could do.
Why Emily decided that painting a bit of code on the side of a wall could be a good idea, she'd never know. But it didn't matter, seeing as she was already there and doing just that. She wasn't the most creative. Hell, she couldn't draw to save her life. But that didn't mean her handwriting was shit. Then again, paint wasn't like writing in a pen or anything of the sort.. . .
Oh well, whatever. She was bored, there hadn't been any movement in her contacts, and she wanted to see what kind of people she could meet. Simple as that. Plus, she had her gear if she needed it. The magix she had could be used in a moments notice, and she did have a powerful taser in her bag - just in case.
A girl could never be too careful.

Riley looked over the hilt of the sword or actually just the hilt for it currently had no blade equipped to it. The HVB - high vibration blade - a simple name for an effective and pricey weapon, a weapon she had...borrowed for indefinite time. She sighed looking over the high structures that made up Middle Class. From her view point it seemed like any normal day, people were up and about doing their things, somewhere in the distance she could hear a dog barking and some cats hissing.
Fixing the tinted goggles over her eyes, Riley stood up and placed the hilt back into her hip-bag - it certainly was small enough. Last time in Middle Class taught her a weapon of some sorts could come in handy. Apparently she simply couldn't always trust on her hand to hand combat skills. Nevertheless that little setback wasn't going to stop her, she had houses to decorate and walls to paint!
Once everything was in place, Riley set off from the rooftop, jumping to one slightly lower and rushing to the drainpipe. Grabbing hold of the cold metal she slid down, letting go several long feet above to ground to land on top of one of the containers. The route was a familiar one with empty alleys and sealed off windows. The smells ranged from the penetrating pungent reek of garbage to the sweet spicy aromas of dinner, both mixing into a nauseating scent which had Riley gagging. She often forgot Middle Class also had certain streets which were less...clean perhaps, though nothing as bad as Lower Class or what she imagined the Slums to be.
Several more jumps and sharp corners later, Riley arrived at what seemed to be like a deserted space - one with great untainted walls. A wide grin spread over her face. This place should do. Opening the hip-bag, she took out her spray can and shook it. Just as she was about to make the first lines the familiar whooshing sound of compressed spray paint leaving a can caught her ear. Blinking twice, Riley ceased her shaking and lowered her hood to listen more carefully. Yes, there it was again. Having her curiosity piqued, she slowly lowered the spray-painting can and followed the sound.
One, two corners later, Riley stood face to back with another artist, one who seemed to like painting code? She smiled, quite liking the idea. For a moment or two Riley stared at the other artist - they appeared to be female with long white hair. Part of her wanted to say hello, but knowing people tended to either run or get hostile when caught she simply smiled and turned to head back to her own spot.

Would the code be enough to help the area be found? Who knew if the idiots she wanted to meet would even show up. It was late in a mostly untouched area in Middle Class, so the chances were slim. She could always just write things in code and be contacted for a job later, but that meant putting forth effort and dealing with who knew what kind of idiots. Really, that wasn’t something she wanted to do.
Emily let out a sigh and ruffled her hair, black paint that had dripped onto her hands being smeared through her bangs. She stopped, scowled, and looked at her hand before a string of curses spilled from her mouth. Of all the things that could have happened, now she needed to wash her hair out. Another sigh fell from her lips as she stashed the can into her pack before walking away from the wall and rounding a corner to find an open water source.
The echo of her footsteps was louder than she would have liked, but it didn’t matter. No one was around – or so she thought. Emily stopped after rounding another corner and catching sight of person, her brow raised in slightly confusion and shock. Did she say hello? Was it a cop? Not that it mattered, she had enough makeup on to avoid any sort of detection software. Plus her mask hidden in the pack.
“Uh. Hey. Nice night for an evening?” Perfect introduction. She nailed it.

Aaaand she'd been spotted, oh boy. Riley stood frozen, biting her lip while trying to come up with a reply. Clearly she'd spooked the other girl, so maybe start there? Anything was better than just staring at her."Eh, hi..." she said tentatively. "V-very nice night, indeed -er- yeah."Silence.
Shuffling her feet, Riley looked at the drawing the other had made and smiled. They seemed to have something in common and maybe she was just nervous because of her sudden appearance. Riley knew she'd be running already if someone managed to sneak up on her. So, trying to relax and smile good-naturedly, she pointed at the graffiti art."That looks really nice by the way...o-oh and no worries, I'm no cop!" At least not since she turned 18 and she felt no obligation to warn any one about some harmless arting. Would be very hypocritical anyway with her having drawn a few pieces not too far from here. Part of her wondered if she'd just been that lucky all this time. Luck or skill, doesn't matter as long as you don't get caught.
Again she fell silent. It wasn't often she came across other artists and if she did both parties usually ran for their lives. One could never know in these neighbourhoods. This, however, was a whole different kind of uncomfortable. Riley never was the best at keeping conversation going.
"Uh a-anyway, I-I'll leave you to your business...eh yeah, sorry for interrupting." When lost for words, move one, best tactic ever!
sorry for taking so long kenny ; v;)/
