In the world of re:DUX, characters are allowed to have genetic modifications and enhancements. This can include, but are not limited to: Gene Splicing ( such as gaining animal traits, i.e. Rabbit Ears, Tiger Claws, Snake Eyes, etc.). Weaponized prosthetics for different body parts ( Arms, Legs, etc. Though these are limited to 2 limbs, at the moment. ) If you have an idea and do not wish to wait for evaluation to discover if this is allowed or not, please PM an active Admin.
Please Note: Genetic Modifications do not include the use of magic. Magic is not inherent and must be ‘downloaded’ with individual uses. More information on magic and gene mods can be found here.
Appearance:
While not required, character design images are preferred. If unable to provide art, detailed descriptions of your character are also allowed. Also note, every character is required to have a ‘jack’ on them (anywhere from bottom of neck up, regardless of if neural chip is active or not ) for neural inputs. While this does not need to be seen in refs it should be noted at least in writing where it is ( more info can be found here). We discourage the use of only face claims for a character’s image, however using an image to say they are similar to, while also providing a written description, is allowed. Please note, stealing or tracing art can result in a warning on re:DUX.
Personality:
Provide at least a full paragraph describing your character's personality. If your character has a disorder or disability, please be certain to research the effects these have on people so as to be respectful in your portrayal.
Background:
Required for evaluation on re:DUX. Please explain how your character got to their position in society and current class/rank.
