-Has sharp, shark-like teeth that regrow within a week of being lost.

-Has an exceedingly dense musculature, making him quite a bit heavier than an average human his size, but many times stronger as well. Requires a meat-heavy diet.



Genetic Splicing - Mantis Shrimp

-Muscle fibers are uniquely folded and coiled, allowing for rapid-fire movement of the limbs. As a whole, punches and kicks are 20% stronger than the average human. Cannot use rapid-fire movement in his arms and legs at the same time.

-Right eye is a banded, three-sectioned, reddish compound eye. The eye has sixteen photoreceptors, as opposed to the three a human eye has. Capable of seeing visible, ultraviolet, polarized, and circularly polarized light. Can perceive depth with just the one eye. Due to the superiority of vision, has above average reaction time. Due to the human brain being unable to process so much information at once, Isen has a clear, lens within each eye section that can be shifted to filter out various kinds of light. Overuse results in severe headaches, leading to the eye needing to be covered with an eye patch most of the time.

-NUIP is completely disconnected from the system, with most systems rendered nonfunctional. Only functions as a port to download magic code.

Fight the Power

-A specialized pair of gauntlets created specifically for Isen.

-Have a thick tungsten carbide exterior, with a layer of amorphous metal beneath. A second layer of tungsten carbide is beneath that, with form-fitting comfortable cloth underneath.

-Heavy, but easy for Isen to use.

-Flexible joints.

-High-impact strikes cause the outer layer of metal to bounce back against the amorphous metal, pushing Isen's fist back and delivering twice the impact strength a simple metal fist would.



Prosthetics:



Prosthetic Heart - Modified to pump blood much faster than a normal human heart when adrenaline levels get high. Used to mitigate the increased oxygen useage of Isen's muscles.



Artificial Blood - A white, bloodlike substance used to replace red blood cells. Can carry oxygen more efficiently and at a much greater capacity than natural blood. Gives Isen a pale look and renders him unable to blush.



Carbon Fiber Bones - The bones in Isen's hands, forearms, feet, and lower legs are carbon fiber, making them exceptionally hard to break and capable of dealing with the stress his fighting style puts on them.

Personality: Isen can be...difficult. He is a very hard-headed, irritable person. While immature and quick-tempered, Isen is also a fiercely honest and loyal person. He will not lie, but he can keep secrets that he will simply refuse to tell anyone. He is reliable to a fault, making him prone to walking right into traps involving those he cares about. He has a deep-seated sense of justice which quickly overwhelms any logic his brain might use, causing him to interfere in anything he feels is unjust, regardless of the consequences. While confident, he is also a bit immature and short-sighted, preferring to focus solely on the goal at hand and worry about the fallout of his actions later. He loves hard, fights harder, and has a fierce hatred for anyone who would try to control his life.

Background: Isen's life has been extremely strange. He was born to two mostly normal middle-class parents on the outskirts of a mostly normal middle-class neighborhood. Living on the outskirts was a bad idea, but the family wasn't really aware. They were nice and friendly to their neighbors, always helping them when in need. As it turns out, their neighbors were illegal scavengers. Secret Police raided the house of the neighbors one night, prompting Isen's family to shelter their child. Accused of harboring a criminal, Isen's family was taken into custody as well. With the help of nearby scavengers who witnessed the raid, Isen was able to escape, making his way to the slums.



Now knowing that the system feared freedom to the point that not being a part of it was a crime, Isen elected to have his NUIP disconnected, with the only function left being reading magic code. Officially cut off from normal society, Isen became a scavenger. For a while, Isen made a living off of scavenged and stolen goods, while also doing what he could to inconvenience the police and government whenever he could.



A bored, wealthy upper-class man found his way into Isen's slum one day. He was looking to 'adopt' parentless children to presumably give them a life of luxury. Isen, along with many other poor, naive children, eagerly agreed. Most would have been able to see it was a trap. The man was part scientist, part sadist. The children were subjected to various cruel experiments, including experimental and illegal prosthetics and gene therapy. Out of roughly twenty children, Isen was one of only three to survive. Rather than be weakened or killed by the surgeries like most of the children, the three survivors were physically superior to average humans.



The three children finally fought back one day, destroying the research equipment and ultimately killing the man. Isen took what rare materials he could and escaped, the other two children heading to a completely different slum to start their lives again. Changed forever, Isen eagerly became part of the Vigilante movement, using his superior strength and speed to his advantage for missions that didn't require him to be delicate. He continued to perform dangerous tasks and hone his fighting skills, vowing to become a hero who would topple the oppressive, corrupt system in charge so that humanity could finally be free.
