Hi, I'd like to propose this business!
Name of Business:
Synapse Technologies (SynapTech)
Purpose of Business:
A company founded in response to the current rapidly advancing technology-reliant society, SynapTech focuses on meeting the demand of the technology market from the Lower Class all the way up to the Executive Class. SynapTech is also extremely dedicated to the expanding future of technology and so is constantly engaged in Research and Development projects related to Magix, Gene Splicing, and even weapons development for Secret Police and government use.
Location:
SynapTech's main headquarters are in the heart of the Upper Class, though other branches, stores, and factories are located ubiquitously throughout the Upper Class, Middle Class, and Lower Class areas (all meticulously placed in relation to demonstrated demand).
Layout Description:
There are generally two types of stores, offering broad and focused selections respectively. All the stores are naturally designed to epitomize technological advancement, with interactive display screens, an amazing level of automation, and simulations for many of the products. Each store, regardless of size is guaranteed to be a tech lover's paradise.
As for factories, SynapTech's are pretty standard, if very high tech.
The headquarters, mainly an office building, isn't too over the top but was still created with style in mind. The topmost floors are for the most part executive spaces and offices and the many floors below are similarly dedicated to offices, meeting spaces, and workfloors. SynapTech's headquarters, however, has many floors of Research and Development Labs below ground, where most of the magic happens.
Other: N/A
Thanks so much!

vectorHi Shane! So your basic concept looks good, I just have two details I'd like clarified. - How old is the company? Did Vector found it?
- How many stories tall are you imagining the headquarter buildings? It is important to keep in mind that due to Novus being domed, it has limited airspace and highrises in Novus are extremely rare and expensive and usually reserved for members of the Executive class. While he could have some tall buildings they would be more like standard office buildings as opposed to skyscrapers.

No problem at all! :> - Yes, that was the plan (if that's okay)! It should be around 8 years old ー Cyrus probably had the idea brewing in his head for a little while, but put things in motion a little after being placed into the Upper Class at 18, starting SynapTech with his father as a (financial) backer.
- Oh, nothing nearly that tall! I was thinking about the offices being comparable to regular office buildings, with heardquarters being taller than the rest (but not at skyscraper level).
Is that alright? Thanks so much for your time again!

vectorAlright so building size looks good, but I do have a question about its age. What exactly allowed the business to progress and grow so huge in such a short amount of time? Considering that there would have already been similar companies ( and probably many older ones with already established deals with the government/Secret Police ) around Novus, what exactly makes Synapse stand out and allows it to prosper so much? 8 years is not a very long time for a company to grow so large unless it has something very unique about it, especially with a CEO as young as Vector was at its conception. So while it is okay and possible for him to have a company this large, we'd like some sort of reasoning as to what allowed it to grow so large and grab so many deals in such a short amount of time, if possible. Thank you!

Ah, I totally understand!
Cyrus usually has this business in AUs I port him into, but naturally its conception tends to change depending on the setting, his background, etc. First of all, compared to a good number of small business owners just starting off, Cyrus had an advantage in the large amount of money and resources he had at his disposal early on. Naturally, that doesn't really mean anything in and of itself, but it did open up several lucrative opportunities that more financially-strained new business owners might not have access to. Given that the society they live in is pretty classist, I reasoned that the older businesses already in place and successful are more likely to be more old-fashioned and have that reflect in their business plans as well. Cyrus invented SynapTech to bring a fresh face and new perspective to Novus, so his methods might be considered very unorthodox. During the initial stages, he originally mined for workers and innovators in the lower classes, prioritizing the Lower Class over the Middle and Upper Classes given that that the Lower Class was relatively untapped potential-wise (regardless of the Test) and much more likely to have a wealth of innovators and potential workers with great ideas but lacking in the resources needed to bring those ideas to fruition. Given that even going into the lower classes for work is frowned down upon, this was probably a novel and (extremely socially risky) business strategy, but with his resources he was able to match (generally) young innovators with the tools they may never have had access to and in this way managed to secure a lot of promising workers and patents for new technologies. On top of this, his family has been running a large marketing and distribution company for generations and once SynapTech reached the stage where it seemed like it would be a lucrative business and viable competitor for older, larger companies with similar market targets, his family's business decided to take on SynapTech as well, greatly expanding its reach and capabilities. Along the way, given SynapTech's relatively novel approach and its dedication to R&D, I'm sure it's also secured deals with the Secret Police and government as well.
Is that alright? (Sorry I was pretty vague ー I wasn't sure how much detail I should give and lot of things about Novus (especially business-related) are still really new slash a mystery to me!)

vectorThat looks good, yes! I'm going to approve it but just want to make a note for reference that bc he has a fairly successful business and is finding people who as you said are fairly intelligent, it is unlikely that his workers will stay in Lower Class for long if they do succeed at his company. And secondly just making sure you know that his business can't supply the majority or anywhere close to it of tech for the government and Secret Police, but it can certainly work with them and provide some of it. But those don't necessarily have to be included in the description, so like I said I'm approving this o7 I would like you to include how the business got successful though when you post it up o7
