There was nothing that was going to stop Somnium as far as legality was concerned, not when it came to enjoying the suffering of complete and utter trash and even moreso when it came to protecting his family. The attempted assailant was going to find out the hard way, of course, but that didn't mean he couldn't find out in small, painful, horrible pieces. When he had finished his initial threat, Somi had pressed the dart ever so slightly harder against the skin. Acid made contact in what would sting and burn, but it was of course meant to be only an awful reminder of the consequences of being rude.
In response, Somi got nothing but a grunt of pain. He grinned, corners of his mouth turning up in a complete lack of apology and then jabbed the dart right into the man's throat. "Whoops. See what happens when you make mistakes?"
It was only then that Sven chose to interrupt, calling around the corner to ask if he was about done. Somnium glanced down at the man writhing, throat likely too far closed from the effects of the acid to let him scream and maybe asphyxiating him just a little bit. Oh, that was interesting he'd have to write that down for use later and -
Right. Sven had mentioned about dinner.
"Sorry. I wouldn't dream of keeping her waiting," he said, popping around the corner as if there wasn't a man squirming in pain in the alleyway behind him.
