Mihre Vechta was walking down a shadowed-out part of the slums. There in the shady corner of town were shabby tents, homeless people sitting alongside the concrete walls in ragged clothing and shady business deals could be spotted no matter where you looked. Mihre walked with a grey cloak, hood covering her face. Her long violet ponytail folded over her shoulder and draped to her legs, and she kept her lips pursed. She accidentally bumped into a scavenger who had just finished a dirty deal. She went to apologize, but saw the pills in their hand. They were definitely not from the official Magix brand... Which meant they were dangerous.
... Not that she was any better. She used no-brand magic pills as well. Her hand shielded by her cloak touched a small container with pills in it strapped to her thigh. Mihre always tried to hold off on using too much, but she could already start to feel the craving for them.
The girl sighed, spotting the shop she needed to make a deal with and walked over to the broker. Pulling out a small bag of currencies, she tossed it to the guy. "I got what you wanted. Pay up." She glared at him with magenta eyes under. He nodded in appreciation.
"Of course, how could I forget our bargain?" He pulled out a bag of herbal medicines under the counter. "Still fresh when you last laid your eyes on them."
Mirhe nodded, taking it into her hands. She opened the package, smelled it to make sure it wasn't poisoned. He was right, it was still fresh. Not something you usually found in the black market. Without another word, she nodded in thanks and made her way back down the sidewalk.
