Personality: Headstrong and blunt, Athena is a child at heart even though people keep telling her to grow up. She is always up for causing mayhem and discourse which cause many to scratch their heads due to her name. But while she loves nothing more than to start a fight or drink, she has a huge heart and is loyal through and through. And while she doesn't have the wisdom of the goddess she shares the name with she has a strong belief in justice which makes her a good judge of character.
Background: Athena never knew her real family. Originally from the slums and daughter of scavengers she was quickly placed in a home that could care for her a bit easier. The downside, her sister was sent to another family. While she loved her foster family, Athena wanted nothing more than to pave a new way for herself and to find her sister. This is how she ended up with the Vigilantes.
One day as Athena was doing her weekly street performances for exposure. It was there she saw some bullies messing with a couple of lower class members around her age. This act enraged the birb into jumping at the punks and was able to get a couple of good punches in before she was overpowered. Despite loosing the fight, Athena was simply pleased she could do her part for her fellow person, and it was this act that caused a near by Vigilante to take notice. A member by the code name Vixen approached her after the conflict and helped her to her feet. The member questioned why Athena would jump into harms way like that and Athena replied it was the right thing to do and its what her sister would have wanted. From there Athena spoke about trying to earn enough to find her sister when Vixen told her that through helping the cause she could not only make Novus safer for those in the lower class but it could provide her with the intel to find her sister. Athena accepted but doing so with the thought of protecting people, proving herself and also to one day find her sister.
Despite her ambitions she remembers her history and wants to make life better for the people of her ranking and others. Thus she joined the vigilantes. She mainly works in creating diversions but can through a mean left hook if she needs to. During her time with the vigilantes she was introduced to Gaia who gave her a place to live and expand her craft, in return she was to be her eyes and ears on the streets.
