So there was this post on Tumblr about "people look a lot like their art styles." Like you can look at a picture and back at the artist and be all, "Yes, this is the person who drew this." I've. actually noticed this since early HS AND IT'S ACTUALLY REALLY COOL and i've been low key trying to find more evidence but. I guess tumblr got there first LOL /PREDICTS TUMBLR FUTURE /shot I'm thinking it's because we probably use ourselves for reference more than anything else. Same with the theory that OCs are extensions of our personalities. It's just natural to base art and writing alike off of yourself since you always have your experiences and body for inspiration. |

I have returned from my vacation! And I have brought pictures! /o/ Enjoy! For a little background, my mom, brother, and I went to the Bahamas (specifically Nassau) on a lovely cruise ship. o vo To start, this is what the Miami airport looked like. I realize now the tree doesn't look as impressive because I didn't get a close-up. But it was big o Ao  Our cabin /o/   This is the "Grand Atrium," basically the center of the ship, where they had all sorts of events. There were musicians playing constantly. And during a couple of events there were people standing on every floor, watching the musicians, dancing, or singing Christmas carols. On Christmas, after the carols, they even made fake snow rain down on us.   Here is Lido Deck, where there were buffet tables almost all day long, and all sorts of other activities. I didn't take a picture of it, but there's also a mini-golf course near the front of the boat.  Here are a few pictures of Nassau         These pictures are from a hotel on the island. Apparently most of the yachts belong to American celebrities, and you can see them hanging out from time to time.        So our stateroom steward (cabin lady, I dunno) was insanely sweet and friendly and professional. After asking for our names once she remembered who we were and she was constantly maintaining our room. Twice, we came back from dinner and found these little towel origami things. I'm sure the other stewards did this, too, but we just couldn't get over how awesome this lady was.   |
