Appearance:
Personality: It’s been a long time since Isaac has been anything but rigid and cold. Years of tragedy, sabotage, and manipulation have roughed up Isaac’s truly caring and kind nature. He’s suspicious of everyone he meets, even if he doesn’t show it. If his brother Dante isn’t around, it’s difficult to get a smile out of him. He’ll try to talk to people and fight his cynicism, as he doesn’t want to be this way—so angry and harsh—but he’s seen too many cruel, deceptive people in the world.
Because of this, Isaac prides himself in being honest, or at least as honest as he can be. He won’t flat-out lie to anyone if he can help it, but instead he’ll tell half-truths, omitting facts to give an incomplete but usually believable story.
Background: Isaac was born in the upper middle class. His parents both worked for the police—his father a detective, his mother a captain. They owned a small house next to a beautiful park. Isaac played in the park every day. He loved the jungle gym most of all, swinging from the bars and climbing to the very top. Once, when he was three, he terrified his mother when he suddenly left the house to play on his own. She found him standing on the bars of the jungle gym, trying to reach a nearby branch to climb a tree.
A few months after Isaac turned four, his mother gave birth to her second son, Dante. The newborn came into the world sickly and white. He was pale and weak, and Isaac watched him shake in his mother’s arms. His cries were pained and shrill, and Isaac asked what was wrong before the doctors came and took Dante away.
It was weeks before Dante was well enough to come home, and from that point on, Isaac never left his side. When his mom’s maternity leave ended, and she had to go back to work, Isaac watched over Dante every second. Dante was prone to illness. Isaac didn’t understand at the time, but Dante’s immune system was weaker than normal. He got sick a dozen times before he turned two. Isaac would usually be in his room reading or doing homework, when all of a sudden he would hear Dante cough. The sound would make Isaac spring from his chair and rush to his brother’s side.
But when Dante turned three, his immune system got stronger. He stopped getting sick, and once the doctors said it was safe, Isaac grabbed his baby brother and took him to the park. The two were inseparable. Even though Dante was better, Isaac still protected his brother and watched over him wherever they went. But even with the fear that Dante would get sick again or get hurt, Isaac was thrilled to be able to finally play with his brother.
Those fun days, however, ended quickly.
A serial killer struck in the city, and Isaac’s father led the case. He was a skilled detective, but one of the police officers he worked with—who had longed to become a detective himself—tampered with the crime scenes before Isaac’s father could arrive. He hid evidence during initial investigations, then "found" the evidence himself later. When the case took so long, the officer slandered Isaac’s father, calling him incompetent. People demanded for Isaac’s mother to step down as chief soon after, and through a series of sabotages from other cops—all eager to climb the ladder and live more luxurious lives—both of Isaac’s parents were fired, and their family was forced to live in the slums.
When Isaac was eight and Dante had turned four, a disease spread through their run-down neighborhood. No one knew they were infected for several days, when all of a sudden their symptoms flared up, starting with coughing, then a fever, then vomiting up blood. Isaac’s parents were some of the first to show symptoms. No one knew what was going on at first, and by the time people realized the disease was deadly, Isaac’s parents were too sick to recover. Before they could scrape enough money together for a doctor, they died. Isaac knelt by their bedside, crying and screaming, shaking all over and punching the floor. He shouted and cursed at the top of his lungs… until he heard a cough from down the hall.
Dante was infected, and Isaac’s body went pale. He grabbed his brother, put him in a wagon, and dragged him all around the city, trying to find a doctor. The ones in the slums and suburbs couldn’t help him, and the ones in the middle and upper class were too expensive. Some of the doctors even showed disgust at the idea of treating a kid from the slums.
When Isaac shouted at the doctors, screaming for them to help, a woman came up to him and pulled him aside. She introduced herself as Madam Roux, and she was a loan shark and a greedy, cruel woman. She offered to pay for Dante’s treatment, so long as Isaac did her a favor. Isaac had no idea what he was getting himself into when he accepted, and even if he had, he wouldn’t have cared.
After spending weeks in the hospital, Dante recovered, and on that very same day, Madam Roux came to Isaac’s door. She said it was time to repay the debt, and she took Isaac away while Dante was asleep. Madam Roux was a kingpin, a dangerous woman who used children for labor, smuggling, and theft. She tested Isaac and found him to be fast and nimble, a thief in the making with the proper training, and she put him to work. All she needed to do to make Isaac obey was promise one simple thing: Dante would die if he ever refused her.
From that point on, Isaac picked pockets and looted stores for Madam Roux, building up his skills to one day become a true thief, to fill Madam Roux’s walls with money and tech for the rest of his life.

Genetic Modifications: Blue Hair - Isaac's blue hair is a remnant of a gene mod that his grandfather had.
Unique Tech:
- Isaac's visor has three filters that he can switch between once per post
- Infrared: Grants Isaac infrared vision, allowing him to clearly detect laser security beams and heat signatures
- Camera Sight: After quickly scanning a security camera, the visor will display the camera's area of view to Isaac, allowing him to more easily avoid detection
- NUIP Detection: The visor will display the number of NUIPs within a 30 meter radius of Isaac, but he cannot tell where an NUIP is located or who has one
[/li][/ul][/ul][/ul]
- The shield is invisible, but when Isaac is hit with something hard enough, the shield will flash blue
- The shield can handle three glancing bullets before it shatters, or one direct bullet
- After shattering, the shield needs two minutes to recharge
- Allows Isaac to run preprogrammed hacks either wirelessly (at a five meter range against low-security tech) or through a wired connection
- Isaac's preprogrammed hacks include:
- Looping security camera footage to replay its last 30 seconds of footage
- Opening locked doors and windows
- Activating and deactivating lights
- Tricking his NUIP's GPS locator to think he is at home when he's really not for up to two hours
- Looping security camera footage to replay its last 30 seconds of footage
- If Isaac tries to hack anything else, he must do it by hand, which takes significantly longer and runs the risk of failing due to his inexperience with actual hacking
- The handheld can also fire tiny darts that can stick to a target and act as a wireless connection for Isaac's handheld, but he must stand within five meters of the darts in order to keep the connection, and he can only carry three at a time

- The gauntlet can store and release smoke bombs at accelerated speeds, creating 20 meter-wide cover for Isaac. Isaac himself will become covered in smoke in less than a second, but the smoke won't billow out fully for at least five seconds. Anyone without a visor will have a very hard time seeing in the smoke.
- Every piece of the gauntlet is bulletproof, allowing Isaac to deflect bullets if Isaac is aided by physical enhancement magic, or if the shooter shoots directly at the gauntlet
- The gauntlet can also serve as a focal point for fire and physical enhancement magic. If Isaac uses magic, he can concentrate the code into his gauntlet for more focused usage.
- Under the forearm is a 50-meter grappling hook that fires with compressed air

Details for Madam Roux:
- A cruel, greedy woman from the Upper Class.
- Criminal kingpin who uses orphans and Scavengers for drug runners and laborers.
- Madam Roux has a deal with the government and the Secret Police, who know about her activities in the drug trade. So long as her drugs continue to dull the senses and rebellious spirits of Novus' citizens, and so long as she reports to the Secret Police, the government allows her criminal acts to continue.
- The government doesn't know, however, that Isaac is Madam Roux's personal thief. She keeps this a secret from them, and she uses Isaac to gain money and tech behind the government's back.
