BikiniNiloooo! Sorry for the wait on this ! Gene Mods: - For the wings, would you be okay with a max of 5ft of jump height? The wings could very much help her get more air, though because of body weight and such she wouldn't be able to nyoom off into the air without the use of air magic! And since she's a scavenger and locked into fire, she couldn't get max lift. As for the hovering off the ground, would you be alright with a max of 1ft and for a full minute? For the gliding, this is fine as well! It would just help her get some distance and soften the landing - though if she jumped from too high of a building or place it would still be pretty hard of a landing.
- Claws. For these, I'd like to see them to a lesser degree! Something like the tips being sharp and able to cut flesh, but not the entire thing similar to a razor blade, if that makes sense. They can certainly still hurt people, so Bikini could still be worried about them, just slightly less powerful since cutting through bone is really strong.
- For the muscles and her tail, did you include the tail into the appendages bit? The muscles are fine for her arms and legs, though the tail shouldn't be able to break bones and slam down with enough force to hurt someone because it's an extra limb. Lifting her up, lightly pulling people around, and assisting in tasks is totally fine, though! Just remember breaking bones wouldn't be an instant thing and would need some force behind it as well!
- I really like what you did with the heat sensing. It's a really creative way to off set it and have two different types of sight ;v;. I just wanted to be sure and tell you that it couldn't be perfect! She can most definitely have heat vision, it just couldn't extend really far away and be super powerful to see everything. Does that sound alright?
Background - For the background, most everything looks good! Though there is a small issue with how Bikini broke her NUIP. Because of how the chips and wiring are implanted in the brain, there would need to be very precise things that could actually fry it. And unfortunately, a claw going into the brain wouldn't be able to do that without also causing massive damage to Bikini.
One possible option would be to have black market chemicals damage it, however. For gene mods, there is also a chemical therapy afterwards that people have to make sure the mods are accepted and aren't rejected by the body. And with the intensive mods that Bikini received, the amount of therapy could actually be enough to break her NUIP. She could have still scraped up the actual port of her NUIP, of course, it's mainly just actually frying the NUIP that was the issue ;v;

Even if they are wings, I assume she can only do as much as a chicken can with fluttering and gliding. I never thought of using her fire magic to give her height as well like a rocket or a vulture, but i was aiming for dragon when i chose that element lol > w< She doesn't use her flying very much, just for high jumps in dancing and smooth landing from high places she climbed up.

BikiniWings, claws, and heat sensing are all perfect now, thank you <3 For the tail though, because it's an extra limb she unfortunately wouldn't be able to actually break bones with it;; Would it be alright if she could coil it around people and take their breath away? So if she held them for a while it could at least make them pass out from lack of oxygen. It's mainly a fairness thing for extra limbs since they wouldn't naturally be part of the body, i hope that makes sense! That works for the background, yes ! /o/ Though, for the input part - do you mean the actual port, or the chip that makes it so she can be tracked? The port ( which is used for activating magic, information transfers, etc ) is the part on the outside of the skull that can be fixed if damaged. But the actual NUIP ( the neural implant inside the head that would be fried by the gene therapy ) couldn't actually be fixed without a lot of proof that it was accidental and reasons why she waited. So later on when she does go to get it fixed and such, just make sure you post it in the IC changes area so we can look it over and help with that if you need it. Either way, I just wanted to confirm on that so I knew what you meant! I hope that makes sense ;v; And of course if you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask them! okay, i'm fine with just her tail being able to asphyxiate beings (though i hope she never does lol.) I'll edit that out thank you.
and, the part that's actually broken is her port not her NUIP. And she looses memory from the brick wall. (my future plan is to have her input fixed and around that same time, her memory comes back whether or not it was the fixing the port, it comes back either way.) I wouldn't want my bby going through reeducation or anything that has to do with that for fixing her NUIP it sounds awful lol ; v;

BikiniThank you for that nilo /o/ !! Ah !! Okay I see where the confusion is coming from now I'm so sorry ! In that case, bikini would actually be a civilian, entirely legal, and not a scavenger if her NUIP isn't actually broken! The port is entirely fine for a normal civi to be broken and can be fixed whenever needed, she just wouldn't be able to use magic and things until that's fixed. And having a port fixed would be really easy to do as well. What makes someone a scavenger is having their actual NUIP broken and disconnecting them from the system entirely. Thats the defining thing that makes them part of that group. I'm so sorry about all the confusion on that, oh gosh.

hmmn, well in that case she'll just be a civilian then, with a broken port, and refuses to enter real society, if that's okay o uo i refuse to have her go through fixing her NUIP and have her go through any kind of reeducation, idk why-- if that's fine by you. lol thanks for going with my lollygagging > w<
I edited her story and status to Civilian o uo d
the story has been changed to that she indeed damaged her port herself after the operation after losing her memory, but her NUIP is fine. However she herself does not want to reenter society in a mental way.
