Age & Date of Birth: September 19, 2830 (34 years old)
Gender: Agender, uses all pronouns. Isn’t very fussy about gender at all really, but being DFAB she tends to default to she/her ones.
Class: Lower Class
Occupation: Greenhouse Worker
Affiliation: Civilian
Genetic Modifications: Being lower class, she only has one augmentation - her green eyes have feline pupils, and she can see in the dark quite easily.
Unique Tech: None
Appearance:
Port is on the base of the neck. Uh.
Personality: Laraine is a cheerful soul, her cheeriness matched by her morbidity and tendency to ramble. She’s quite friendly to most people regardless of social status and respectful to those higher-ranked, but her nosy nature and disregard of many societal conventions can make her rather difficult to enjoy anything resembling a normal conversation with.
She adores her work and often talks to the plants she cares for
Her greatest failings are her impatience with people who are confused or unable to keep up with her rapid-fire talking, her tendency to get distracted by a variety of things, her habit of making fun of sensitive topics, and her inability to understand why any of that is a problem.
Her nickname is likely something only she calls herself despite introducing herself as it. She just likes the sound of the word and the idea of a creature made from multiple different parts.
Background: Laraine’s life has been fairly unremarkable. Born into an ordinary lower-class family of factory workers, her life might have been completely bland if it hadn’t been for one event during her adolescence.
Laraine had wandered into the slums, more out of curiosity than anything, and witnessed the violent death of a scavenger by the police. Though she tries to forget about it, sometimes she questions her obedience to her superiors, though she would never dare let that show. She isn’t nearly brave enough to oppose them, and is almost as wary of the rebels themselves.
Aside from that, she enjoyed poring over creatures and plants both dead and alive as a child and teenager, so when she passed her tests, she was assigned to be a greenhouse worker.
She’s content with her status in life, despite the occasional feeling that she should, in some vague way, be doing something more. [/ul]
