October Event 'Haunted Guide' Pre-Sign Ups !

Hello ghosts and ghouls!
We hope that your October has been going well, and that each of you have been looking forward to what's coming for this most spooky of months. To start, an extension of congratulations on all the wonderful entries for our first CREATE CHALLENGE. All of the entries have been amazing so far and we’ve absolutely loved seeing what you all have come up with. We’re really super proud of all you who have participated so far.
And without further ado, We'd all like to give you a warm welcome to our pre-sign ups for the first phase of the IC Event! The full details of the event will (fingers crossed) be announced this Sunday, and will feature an IC festival that your characters are free to enjoy as well as some smaller IC events. However, there is one part of the event that we need you to sign up for before we announce the details.
This part of the festival is an exploration and mystery hunt through a few 'haunted' places, each with a wonderful guide to help them along the way. And at the end? Well, we can only hope that it’s a treat and not a trick. The threads will begin with the start of the festival where of course, everyone else is welcome to explore the festivities once the full event launches. This is just to prepare and have less wait time so we can have everything starting at once.
Each Haunted Guide thread will be run in a DM fashion with their NPC Guide (played by the different Administrators) heading things. These threads will be timed with 48 hours between posts for the Guide, so be sure to get your posts in! This phase of the event is meant to last two weeks, and it is fairly important that we keep these threads on schedule.
Why, you ask?
Well that’s one of the many mysteries for you to find out in these threads. We wish you the best of luck in solving them.

If you would like to enter multiple characters ( a maximum of 2 ) into this phase, please put them in the order of which you would prefer depending on space in threads. Your first choice is a guaranteed, but we aren't able to guarantee all secondary characters.
If there is anyone you do not wish to be paired with, please send a PM to an active Admin and we'll do our best to make sure that these pairs are avoided, however, if there are not enough sign ups for more than one thread we unfortunately can’t make any guarantees. Alternatively, if there is someone you do want to be paired up with, send a PM to an active admin and we will be able to guarantee you are together.
Sign ups will close on Sunday, October 18 @ 11:59 am PST, with the full event hopefully going up with the threads later that day on Sunday. PMs will be sent to participating members ahead of time to prepare them for the threads as soon as we make groups.
Also a note that this isn't the only interactive portion of the event! After the event has begun and these threads tie up, we will be opening another phase for the event, so if you don't sign up for this round - there is still a chance to take part in the mystery later on.
