Hey there peeps! This is just to let you all know that I'm going to be leaving the country for the next week, Tuesday night (11/10) to Monday evening (11/16). My sister and I are heading over to Ireland to visit my cousin and then we're going to be taking a little trip over to France while we're on that side of the Atlantic too.
I will be bringing my laptop with me to do work for school, but I have NO idea what the internet situation will be like there. There could be free wifi, I could be limited only to my phone for internet, or there could be nothing at all but phonecalls and texts. I'll let you all know when I get there, and hopefully I'll be able to keep up with the event without any problem!

God no; i'm from Antwerp, waay up in the north of Belgium; it's like a 3-4 hour train ride? I dont think it's that cheap either :0

Yeah, there's a specialized train that does france-antwerp in 2 hours, but a return ticket is like 400 euros (depending on how quick you reserve one) So don't do that :0
But if you do the Louvre, know that I've been asked to leave there like twice already

Hey there everyone! Not sure if you guys have heard the news yet or not, but I want to start this by saying that I am perfectly fine!
Intel is still coming in on what happened exactly, but there were a series of terrorist attacks in Paris tonight (It's currently 12:40 AM here). That being said, my trip to France is in Nice, in the south on the Mediterranean and nowhere near Paris. So like I said, I'm perfectly safe and healthy. The only concern to be had on my end is that I'm currently stuck in France because the government closed the borders. My flight out is supposed to be Sunday night, so we'll see if the borders re-open by then. Hope everyone is doing well and hopefully I'll be back in the States on time and without any issues.

After a long 13-hour day of flying and layovers, I'm back home safe and sound from my trip. Definitely enjoyed my time in Europe, even with current events, but still glad to be home again.
