I can see Elena using this kind of magix for her practice too if it was available, but I'm curious how it could be implemented. I'm not sure it would actually be condoned by the government and instead would only be used by back-alley doctors like Lev and Elena because it would require administering essentially pre-programmed magix into someone else, which I imagine would violate a few rules on its own.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised at the thought of new types of Magix being engineered that the government otherwise wouldn't allow -- it'd just require more skilled programming and working through backdoors or something etc etc
higher addiction rates bc obviously ???
nOT SURE
i juST REALLY NEED DARKNESS MAGIX IN MY LIFE AND ALSO BLOOD

Addiction side effects no worse than a lot of pharmaceuticals out in RL already. LOL Also! Fun fact after a little investigation into the human body. Uriel's "steel skin" could indeed work biologically with Magix. He could use straight iron and the carbon in his skin to create carbon-steel. But going further, he could use the passive amounts of Tungsten that the body doesn't use and Cobalt, which actually is a key component to vitamin B 12 , to alter the metal skin into tool-steel which is harder and resists corrosion better (possible defense against acid/poison magix). He just needs to take some B 12 supplements to go with the iron. \ /

I would love to see experimental magix, but then again I'm secret police and these organisations tend to keep the good things for themselves ;3
why not use the carbon of your dead upper layer of skin to make a polymer coating? I've worked on self healing polymers that were pretty amazing.
on the subject of blood magix ; essentially blood is water and most helpful cells contain carbon, so there's a way to manipulate those; you'd have to link NUIPs for the doctor's NUIP to temporarily use the patients NUIP to manipulate the body's elements? I wonder who would get the side effects in that scenario?
