A polite smile was all she gave in reply to his comment about her being a hard worker. Really, even with everything that happened - it was one thing she prided herself on. She usually put everything she had into tasks, which just meant her commitment to the distaste towards him would be fully fueled. Wasn't he just so lucky? It was about like the jar. There were no plans to drop the term, even if he corrected her every time. And even if they were on the level of 'friends', she doubted he'd not at least do it once to make a point. He was a sadistic asshole, after all.
"At least I'll get a bit of warning. Makes preparing much easier." She knew that smile of his wasn't actually polite. He looked like he wanted to sell something. Nice to know he enjoyed the flinch. "You don't have to claim to be perfect to hold that sort of air about you. Your words give it away as well." Calling her an amateur just proved that point further. Though she did seem to be nitpicking, didn't she? Ah, too bad. While she didn't flinch, her fingers did tense for a moment until going back to a relaxed position. Thankfully her steps stayed in time. "No, you're not mistaken. Your overly stuffy outfit is suffocating and being close to you in such a way is far from pleasant. I hardly care what you think, it's just proving a point. I've no reason to let years of practice go to waste."
