Occupation: [Cover Job] Tech Programmer: Because Riku would have been an extremely successful robotic engineer and made it into middle glass just upon that fact, He uses this as a cover for the work he does with the vigilantes. With all his clients having fake names to hide his real work.


[actual job] Tech developer: Riku actually develops dangerous and unique tech for Vigilantes for high payment.

Notes:
-The type of tech Riku can make varies. His specialization is weapon development but he has been known to also make some utility tech such as communication scramblers.
-He has advanced skills with developing tech and repairing it. Riku can do almost anything on the side of robotic engineering as that's what he was originally training for before he quit to be a freelancer.
-He can't teach anyone anything he knows because he's gets horribly irritated when people can't get something right.

[info] While Riku is not really a part of the Vigilantes, he has records of his disguised self with the secret police. Because of him working so closely with them and even fighting along with them when he's paid to, he's seen as being a part of them even though he doesn't have their same views.

Genetic Modifications:
-Rabbit ears and Tail. Doesn't gain much from the genetic mods other that enhanced earring and being super cute.

Unique Tech: 
Taser Swords: A set of swords Riku built on his own. The Swords are made of a strong and durable Metallic Glass with small copper wires running through it that are almost too thin to see. The swords have a set number of times that they can generate electricity through them before being recharged to be used again. Each sword has a limit of 2 static bursts that last for 30 seconds each. The hilts of the swords are a mixture of rubber and plastic steel to keep the electricity from reaching his hands.


Communication scrambler: This is located at his workshop in the slums. It only has a range of anything inside the shop and is purely there to protect his business with the Vigilantees. It's hooked up to allow Only Riku's phone to work and make or receive calls because of a special code implanted in it's programming.

Personality: Cool and collected, Riku puts a lot of effort into anything he does. He tends to be rather quiet sometimes but that's mostly because he can be fairly socially awkward because of the lack of a social life. Once you break the ice with him you can find he's more of a hot head and easily irritated. He's definitely not the hero type but will occasionally help others if it's not out of his way to do so. Very opinionated and stubborn, most people probably find it hard to get along with Riku but once you become someone dear to him you'll find he'll go to extremes to keep the friendship he's kindled with you.


Background: When Riku was tested at 16 his talent for innovative engineering was brought to light and he was allowed to stay in middle class to watch how his skill developed. Thankful for being able to stay in the class he was raised in, Riku used the chance to continue to take care of his father. His father, a successful doctor, had started to become ill some time before his test. His illness reached a peak when Riku was 23 and become hospitalized. Although Riku's studies under another well known scientist paid well, the medical bills became too much for him to handle and he decided to do whatever it took to take care of his dad. So when he was almost 24 he registered as a freelance worker and started diving into anything that would get him money. This of course continued to lead him down illegal paths but he embraced it regardless and eventually found his biggest payout working with and for the vigilantes.


Trivia


-Riku is an only child.

-His mom died giving birth to him.

-He got his gene mods when he was 16 and due to some weird complication the growth of his rabbit ears halted his height growth and kept growing in it's place.

-Riku was very briefly engaged when he was 23 but because of his devotion to his father and spending most of his time taking care of him, his fiancée grew tired of not being his priority and ended the relationship.

- His Fiancée was the well known scientist that he worked under and came from a Executive class family.
