SO LIKE Death is monitored so they can know if someone's dead to remove them from records and stuff but like.
If someone 'dies' (ie, heart stopping) but are managed to be resuscitated, would that do anything weird on their monitoring system? How long would someone's vitals have to be down for them to be actually marked off as dead in the system? What vitals does it monitor? (just pulse/breathing or would it monitor what it could from brain activity?)
this isnt related to anything just questions that came into mind from an answer in another thread 8'D

kyneI don't think we wanna give a set time for the sake of not getting too nit picky, but essentially it would monitor both brain activity and pulse/breathing together to confirm whether you were dead or not. The idea is essentially that it's monitoring it so someone can't like shoot you and then take your NUIP to steal your identity. By the time your murderer could actually get the NUIP out of you, you'd be registered as dead and the NUIP would be useless as far as an identity goes. as for heart stopping and being resuscitated, if there was no like hospital visit registered around the same time there might be slightly extra surveillance, but it would be very short and not very thorough.
