howdy!
i'm mo, and i found this forum through. Subeta i think?? it's been a few years now since i've role-played, so i can guarantee that i've reached rusty geezer status. but i guess you can't expect those good ol' rp muscles to be in optimal athletic condition when you aren't doin anything
i don't know anybody on here and i'm a terrified pigeon in general, so it might take me a while to find a groove and really dig into things. still! i'm hopeful that i may break free from this pigeon shell and soon talk character/plot trash with the best of them
also! i hope it's okay to ask here? but proboards mandates that you pick one of two genders - is there any way to hide that on your profile?? : o
i just picked randomly but it's still making me antsy to have it there. i didn't sign up for ur garbage proboards

Welcome to redux, it's awesome to have you here! ;v; If you have any questions or need help getting settled feel free to ask questions here, in the Q&A, or just pm one of the administrators (myself(wow so many parenthesis hi I'm Lills), Kendra, Enchilada, and TsukikoMumai)!  For the gender issue, we'll look into the profile thing for sure! We got rid of the icky gender icons that show up automatically on proboard, but we totally missed the part on the profile, sorry! Kenny's the one who does the site coding and editing so I can't personally guarantee or not if it's a feature we can get rid of, but we'll definitely look into it ;v;b But yes if you have any other questions or concerns please let us know! I hope you have a great time here ;v;

Rachaelahh thank you for everything! i hope that thing about the profiles didn't sound grouchy or pushy, i can imagine that isn't something that can be shooed away with the flick of a wrist ;^; thank you so much for being willing to look into it, even if proboards is just Gross and it winds up being a hassle to mess with, it's lovely knowing that you folks take concerns even from a little greenhorn seriously i'll probably get lost at some point and have to go to one of you wonderful folks for help, thank you again for being so sweet Lills!! (what else would u expect from a fellow hufflepal tho)

rotmouth Hey there Mo, and welcome to re:DUX!! I'm persimmon over on Subeta, and I'm guessing you're rotmouth over there as well? Either way, it's awesome to have you ;v; My name is Kenny, and I'm the resident coder, as Lills said ! But dont worry, a lot of us over here are anxious nerds that would be more than willing to talk plot trash with you  As for the gender thing, you can actually hide it entirely. Proboards really needs to step up their game for gender identity huffs, but that's also why we made sure to have a pronouns section for everyone to feel comfortable. \o/ To hide the option, just go to your profile > edit profile > privacy. The option to change the gender visibility is there, and if you hit no it completely does away with that option showing up. I've got mine hidden, it just automatically checks yes for accounts. And don't worry, it wasn't grouchy at all. Gender is a really important thing to respect, and we totally understand that ;v; We're here to help for anything you might need, large or small - so don't be scared to hit us up if you're in need of any assistance. Kendraoh!! since you're Persimmon on there, then it was through your signature that I found re:DUX!! haha it suddenly feels like a small world thanks a ton for filling me in on how to hide that! i thought i'd looked through the settings a bit but i think i wasn't thorough enough, sorry ahha '-v- i'm glad you didn't have to do any code fiddling though! the work you've put into the forum is already apparent, at least you didn't have to mess with a silly profile option. proboards ought to step up its game tho, this is the first time i've even seen that lovely pronoun section implemented but. it'd be neat if that was a thing that proboards included from the get-go! it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to see a forum actually putting in that sort of effort though, it's lovely that you took the time to add that <3 thank you so much for offering to help, i'm a literal, certifiable toddler and it's nice to know that i've got backup if i piss my pants and start cryin everyone here already seems lovely, and it's very calming and welcoming to get such a lovely greeting from you all! i am both Up and Down for plot trash whenever the time comes, thank you for volunteering yourself as tribute  (these emojis are so. stinkin. cute. help me) sae !! rotmouthquick tip for tagging and stuff, it goes by username and not display name actually! So some of us (like Kenny over there) have a diff username than their display name. To check someone's username you can just hover over their name and it'll show you! So for Kenny you'd tag her @ Kendyl instead of @ Kendra o7 also we're glad you like the smilies! They were made by our lovely Levenin!
