And so the pink-haired man solved another puzzle. Had it really been a puzzle at that point, though? Maybe it was best to say the nice lady had solved it, or the lightning woman. They were the ones who had found out the floor was… about ten different kinds of weird. Regardless, Dante was glad he had solved at least one puzzle. Isaac would be so proud.
While rubbing his nose, Dante followed the group out of the ballroom, up the stairs, and out onto the balcony of this really cool-looking room. He walked to the wood railing of the viewing box and looked out across the theater. As he thought back to the garden, the talking doorknob, and the ballroom, Dante found himself in complete awe and said, “It must be so cool to be rich.”
Then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw somebody jerk forward toward the railing. Dante’s heart leaped as he saw Lucente shove the lightning woman. “Whoa!” He moved without thinking, rushing for the woman. His hands reached out for her waist to grab her if she actually fell over the side. That shove looked really hard. What was Lucente thinking?
Things only got most confusing as Lucente jumped down to the floor and ran to the stage, sheets of metal sliding out from under her dress and wrapping around her body. How did that even work? What kind of crazy tech was in this tour? Dante’s head started to hurt as he thought about everything he had seen so far. If his nose wasn’t still sore, he would swear he was dreaming.
When Lucente seemed to taunt everyone, Dante simply stared off into space for a few moments, until he eventually raised his hand and called out to Lucente, “Uh, excuse me. What’s going on right now?”Attempted to help Ellie if she actually needs it (otherwise he’ll pull back and not touch her) Got really #$%&ing confused Did absolutely nothing else and remained up in the viewing box

Ellie barely had a chance to be disgruntled by the new room when she felt herself being shoved surprisingly hard. The air left her when her gut slammed against the railing, which she quickly grabbed to catch herself. She spun when she felt a hand at her waist, fist clenched and ready to sock whoever touched her, and had to stop herself short from clocking the kid.
Lucente was the one that had shoved her, for some reason. Before she could lunge at her though their guide was leaping over the balcony she'd just tried to shove Ellie over. She was making some display and talking about the messages though Ellie didn't focus on much beyond what this really was: something Ellie would enjoy far too much.
Anger bubbled up, but with it a sense of glee. Oh. Oh so this is what they were doing? Her face split into a wicked grin. "It's a fight." She bolted forward, grabbing the ledge as she vaulted over it. She hit the pile of costumes and whatever else was there a little harder than was probably recommended, but the thrill of getting to actually fight something bypassed the slight pain of it.
Her vision was limited in the mask and she briefly debated removing it. No, her scars were very recognizable and she didn't want to lose the anonymity if she could help it. Instead she shoved her sleeves up a bit on her forearms and reactivated her gloves. They were mostly drained from earlier, she probably only had a few good shocks left in them if her blows even landed, but better than nothing. "I think you owe me an apology, asshole."

As they continued walking to their next destination the young boy with the silver hair made a mention about how cool it was to be rich. Gaia glanced over at him and sighed, "The only perks of being rich is never having to worry about having a roof over your head, clothes on your back and food in your stomachs. Other than that the glam and sparkle of higher living is extremely overrated and can corrupt too many who are pure." Gaia shook her head as she was reminded of her childhood. Gods she hated it with a passion and the longer she was in this mansion the more she was reminded of that.
When they finally made it into the last room everything happened at once. Lucente pushing Ellie, her jumping over the railing and landing with almost perfect grace at the bottom below. By the time Gaia was able to react, Lucente's outfit was changing and the atmosphere around them was changing and then Gaia was reminded of the last message she was received. They were in a theater.
Oh dear its a fight. Why must it all end in violence? The elven woman thought to herself as she saw their guide's costume shift into a more metallic form. The sheer look of it was gorgeous but also menacing at the same time. Gaia knew that this whole thing was going to end badly and here was the topping on the cake; fighting their guide. "This is so childish..." The elf muttered under her breath as she saw Ellie leap over the banister into the costumes below. "This will not end well...." Gaia sighed as she contemplated going over as well or finding a stair case to go down too at the risk of injury or tricks.

Oh, come on now. She'd made such a big show out of the armor and everything, and now they weren't even going to try and attack her? Well, the one she'd tried to push off the balcony was, but at least that much was to be expected. Lucente shook her head slightly at the other woman, still keeping the smirk on her face. Smiling at an opponent was supposed to be intimidating, right? That's what they'd told her in training. "Now now, watch your language. This is a family friendly space. I'll have to remove those who break the rules." To emphasize her point, Lucente's hand went to a particularly large chunk of her armor, lights whirring for a moment before it separated from the rest and started to transform into a large gun. Her finger rested on the trigger as she aimed it at the rather violent woman, pulling back slightly as energy began to charge up in the weapon. Well, it was built to look overly dramatic. Hopefully it'd give the others some incentive to defeat her. After all, didn't everyone want to play the hero at some point? That was the idea this whole finale was based upon. But well, this first attack should do some damage (to their retinas at least, it was more flash than anything), which would theoretically get them to take this whole thing more seriously.Or well it might have, had an annoyingly cheery alarm started going off from the device on her wrist. It took Lucente a few seconds to realize what it was, but she dropped the weapon and sighed, letting it and the rest of the armor recede back into her clothing. Well that was anticlimactic. The guide offered a polite smile to remaining participants, though she still kept her eyes on the rather angry woman. "My apologies for cutting this short, but it seems like we've run out of time for tonight's tour. A tragedy we didn't manage to reach the finale together, but we do have some prizes for you to thank you for your participation." Lucente tapped her heel twice on the stage, and five heaps of fabric sprung up from a trapdoor underneath before landing in a pile next to her. The guide leaned down and picked one up, revealing it to be a neon orange sweater with the tour logo emblazoned across it. "So you'll never forget what a lovely time you had tonight, we of course figured that a memento of the group that made it possible would be most fitting. And if you turn it around you get to see the two-one lovelier than the other I might add-who helped you along the way." She shifted her grip on the sweater to show the cartoon portraits of herself and Jek that had been sewn onto the back. She wasn't sure what exactly had inspired their PR team to slap them on there, but all she could do was grin and bear it and hope the participants would never wear these things in public. "It's a one size fits all kind of deal, but I'm sure they'll look wonderful on all of you. Once you've grabbed one, please follow me to the exit." Another tap of her heel, and the door at the back of the auditorium swung open, revealing a nicely maintained hallway with another door at the end.
Lucente hopped off the stage and made her way through the hall, pausing at the door on the far end. "Once we pass through here you'll be back in the main festivities of the mansion. We hope you had a wonderful time with us here at Haunted Tours, and wish you luck on completing any further tours you take with us. Don't forget to give us a good review and subscribe to our page, and we hope you have a lovely Persephone's Reign." Thank you everyone for sticking to the end of these threads with us! We apologize again for cutting them off shortly and for the lack of organization on our parts, but we greatly appreciate your patience with as we work through our first event threads on this site. You are free to make an exit post from now until the date mentioned below if you wish, but it is not mandatory. We hope you had a fun time, and we'll be putting up a survey once the thread locks for suggestions on how to improve threads like these in the future. Thank you again for participating!

It was over.
A chime was heard and then as quickly as it started, the battle ended abruptly without Gaia having had done much at all. As soon as she heard the tour was done all the elven woman could do was give a heavy sigh of relief. The faster she can get out of this nightmare the better and she can catch up with Athena to gather her thoughts about what happened. "Good riddance..." the woman muttered under her breath.
While Lucente continued her script, Gaia and the others made their way down to the stage where the guide presented them with shirts as mementos of the tour. In her mind, Gaia sneered at the tacky looking fabric but then just reached out to get one either way more so out of politeness. She could probably use this as some donation clothes or something to wear when she helping with costume making.
Either way it is...something.
Once everyone collected their shirts, they followed Lucente to the exit as she explained it will lead back to the main festivities and to give a good review. With the concept of review, Gaia didn't know if she was much of an ass to be bitter about her experiences or not. But knowing her she will probably be somewhat nice in the review. At least the people in the group were interesting if the setting didn't give her much of a panic attack.
